Xcel Energy, Inc. is seeking an Operations Scheduler to strategically plan and manage a rolling 2- to 12-week work schedule across regions. The role emphasizes proactive coordination of crews, resources, and compliance requirements to meet customer and safety metrics.

The position supports a hybrid work model with onsite expectations. Responsibilities include analyzing demand, balancing priorities, and leading regional scheduling meetings while ensuring timely execution by field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Five years' experience in construction, design, maintenance or other operations area.
• Utility scheduling/planning experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and manage work activities to meet requirements.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools and data retrieval from reporting tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication and meeting facilitation skills.
• Experience with Microsoft products, work management, mapping and scheduling tools.

Responsabilités

• Plan a multi-week region-wide work schedule based on demand and priorities.
• Manage resources and backlog across a multi-week timeframe to ensure crew availability.
• Forecast resource utilization and propose reallocations for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance tasks are scheduled within required timeframes.
• Lead scheduling meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to meet dates.
• Drive customer satisfaction by adhering to scheduling processes.
