Xcel Energy is seeking an Operations Scheduler to strategically prioritize regional workloads, build a 0-12+ week book of work, and deliver a compliant, executable 2-week schedule for field teams. You will coordinate with supervisors and stakeholders to maximize productivity and efficiency, ensuring safety and adherence to customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Five years' experience in construction, design, maintenance or other operations area.
• Utility scheduling/planning experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and manage work activities to meet requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication and meeting facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools and data retrieval from reporting tools.
• Experience with Microsoft products, work management, mapping and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan a multi-week region-wide work schedule based on demand and priorities.
• Identify gaps, resolve scheduling conflicts, and recommend resource needs.
• Manage personnel, equipment, and material resources over multi-week horizon.
• Optimize contract/employee resource selection to minimize costs and maximize adherence.
• Forecast resource utilization for upcoming quarters and suggest reallocations.
• Facilitate monthly regional performance review meetings.
• Ensure compliance work is scheduled within required timeframes.
• Coordinate with supervisors and stakeholders to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Lead regular scheduling meetings and realign dates with partners as needed.
