Job summary

Addison Group in Plano, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to support the transition of new hires from accepted offer through onboarding. You will coordinate onboarding activities, communications, documentation, pre-employment requirements, and related recruiting operations with HR, hiring managers, candidates, and internal stakeholders.

The role is a Hybrid, Contract to Hire position with compensation ranging from $31.25 to $33.65 per hour.

Qualifications

2+ years in onboarding, HR operations, or talent acquisition.
Experience with applicant tracking systems or HRIS.
Background in high-volume hiring is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day onboarding activities and ensure timely completion.
Track tasks, deadlines, calendars, and follow up with stakeholders.
Prepare and distribute communications about paperwork and onboarding steps.
Coordinate pre-employment activities such as background checks and screenings.
Assist with recruiting coordination including interview scheduling and logistics.
Maintain job postings across career sites and internal systems.
Provide logistical support for recruiting events and Talent Acquisition programs.
