Job summary

Bain & Company in Texas is seeking an HR Specialist to partner with the Texas HR team for General Consultant cohorts in the Dallas office and support staff across Austin, Houston and Dallas. This role emphasizes customer service, attention to detail, and effective communication in a hybrid environment.

Onboarding four days in-office during onboarding, then three days as determined by the supervisor, with a focus on process accuracy, data integrity, and employee support across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years professional experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information and multi-task.
• Proficient Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint; Workday experience bonus.

Responsibilities

• Supports transfers across Austin, Dallas, and Houston; communicates policies; coordinates onboarding.
• Oversees leaves of absence process and data entry in HRIS.
• Manages externship processes and communications with stakeholders.
• Owns compensation processes across cohorts; audits memos.
• Oversees departures process; conducts exit interviews.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics and training (Pre-ACT).
• Collect work authorization docs and process in e-Verify.
