Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking an HR Generalist to own the end-to-end onboarding process, coordinating background checks, I-9/E-Verify, and new hire setup. You’ll ensure day-one readiness across a multi-state footprint and collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, Payroll, Benefits, and IT to deliver a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• Three or more years of HR experience with onboarding or HR operations.
• Working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws related to hiring.
• Proficiency with HRIS/HCM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple new hires.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Own the pre-hire and onboarding process, including background checks, I-9/E-Verify, and new hire communications.
• Manage new hire setup in ADP WFN and ensure accuracy of payroll elements and benefits eligibility.
• Coordinate IT provisioning, workspace needs, and required trainings for day one readiness.
• Design a consistent Day 1 through end-of-first-week experience and handoff to HRBP.
• Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state employment regulations and audits.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and HRBP teams for seamless handoffs.
• Support ADP WFN enhancements and onboarding-related documentation and process improvements.
