Job summary

Kelley Drye & Warren LLP seeks a Technology Learning and Development Specialist to partner with the Technology Training Supervisor. You will develop and deliver technology programs firm-wide, support new hire onboarding, and drive user adoption of tech initiatives in a hybrid NYC office.

This role requires experience training adult learners, a passion for learning new technologies, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3–5 years of applicable law-firm experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and diverse learners.
• Curiosity, adaptability and a growth mindset towards new technologies.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly learning experiences.
• High energy and enthusiasm for driving change and user engagement.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365; experience with NetDocuments, Litera Create and NTD is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI tools and time-entry programs like iTimekeep is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Technology Training Supervisor to improve training programs and learning experiences.
• Coordinate and standardize new hire technology orientation sessions across offices.
• Develop and deliver training on firm systems, desktop apps, financial tools, and practice-specific tech.
• Promote technology adoption through engaging training and clear value communication.
• Provide or support desk-side training for attorneys and staff, remotely or in person.
• Create instructor notes, training materials, quick guides, and reference resources.
• Assess training needs with department leaders and design customized learning solutions.
• Troubleshoot legal and support applications in partnership with IT.
