University of Colorado Anschutz in Aurora, CO is seeking a Float New Patient and Surgery Scheduler to coordinate new patient visits and surgeries across the Obstetrics and Gynecology department. This hybrid role supports scheduling, insurance verifications, and pre-authorization processes while serving as a liaison between patients and providers.

As a float position, you will train across divisions, manage OR block time, and generate patient quotes, working under the Clinical Operations Program

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of patient registration and insurance processes.

Aufgaben

• Assist patient scheduling issues, training, education, communication and problem solving.
• Develop and maintain training and workflow documents for Surgery scheduling.
• Schedule operative cases across multiple locations of care and different health systems as directed by supervisor, clinical providers and nursing staff.
• Obtain surgery insurance authorizations.
• Coordinate, track, and generate reports on OR block time, including all related communication with the hospitals
• Assist with new patient visit scheduling and procure new patient medical records in a timely manner as needed.
