This onsite role in Highlands Ranch, CO requires attention to HIPAA, accurate data entry in Epic, handling referrals and preauthorizations, and serving as a liaison for non-clinical scheduling issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience with patient registration and insurance processes.
• Substitution: education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• MS Office experience.
• Bilingual, Spanish-speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient visits and complete data entry in Epic.
• Determine if insurance pre-authorization is needed and mail information packets to patients.
• Obtain referrals and authorizations for clinic encounters, procedures, and surgeries.
• Preauthorize procedures and surgeries.
• Triager new patient referrals and email new patient information.
