Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Inside Sales Presales Engineer in California for a hybrid role, working with Network Account Managers, channel partners and customers to modernize, secure and simplify networks.

You will combine networking know‑how with consultative selling to design end‑to‑end HPE Networking solutions across wired, wireless, SD‑WAN, SASE and cloud management. Expect fast‑paced opportunities and cross‑team collaboration.

Qualifications

5+ years in pre‑sales or customer‑facing tech roles.
Strong networking foundation across campus, wireless, routing, WAN.
Consultative approach aligning technology with business outcomes.
Ability to lead discovery conversations and translate concepts for diverse audiences.
Hands‑on solution design and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Partner with account managers to qualify opportunities and drive technical wins.
Lead discovery sessions to uncover business drivers and requirements.
Conduct assessments to identify gaps and define solutions.
Design end‑to‑end HPE Networking solutions across multiple domains.
Deliver technical presentations and product demos to technical and execs.
Support proposals, RFP/RFI responses, BOMs and solution docs.
Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on complex opportunities.
Maintain deep expertise across HPE Networking portfolios.
