Job summary

The State of North Carolina, DHHS, is seeking a Learning Management/Staff Development Specialist II to lead LMS administration, design training programs, and deliver instruction across multiple settings. Responsibilities

• Design and develop training programs, plans, and materials that align with organizational and program needs.
• Deliver classroom and/or clinical instruction for assigned programs and adapt instructional methods based on audience and learning objectives.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and revise programs, materials, or approaches to improve outcomes and maintain relevance.
• Identify training and development objectives in collaboration with program leadership to support organizational goals.
• Provide consultative guidance and organizational development support within division, department, hospital, facility, or system-wide training structures.
• Implement and maintain external training programs for users of statewide systems and support training delivery across multiple organizational settings.
• Administer, support, or oversee statewide learning management systems to ensure accessibility, functionality, and user compliance.
• Lead committees, participate in executive leadership activities, or contribute to strategic planning processes within smaller agencies or facilities.
• Supervise or provide direction to Staff Development Specialist I positions and administrative staff involved in training operations.
