Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer for our George, Western Cape operations. You will evaluate existing processes, drive lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and implement best practices to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality. The role involves leading Kaizen events and documenting new workflows.

You will map processes, develop SOPs, and train staff while tracking KPIs to ensure sustained improvements across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Industrial or Mechanical field.
• Minimum 4 years in process improvement or operations management.
• Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; data-driven optimization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve operational processes at the George facility.
• Lead lean and Six Sigma initiatives from concept to completion.
• Design new process flows, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Train staff on new processes and best practices.
• Monitor KPIs for efficiency, cost and quality.
