Placements24 is seeking an proactive Operations Project Manager to support operations across locations, based remotely with occasional travel to Paarl. You will lead improvement projects, implement new processes, and drive cost-effective productivity.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 5+ years in project management, and strong skills in lean and Six Sigma, with excellent analytical and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on operational improvements.
• Proven experience in process optimization, lean methodologies, or Six Sigma projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to operational sites, including Paarl.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring strategic alignment.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk assessment.
• Collaborate closely with operations managers and site personnel to implement new processes and systems.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement timely solutions to keep projects on track.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven project proposals.
• Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
