Four Inc. is seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technology and systems support for employees in a hybrid Herndon, VA environment.

The temporary role focuses on onboarding laptops, coordinating access, and coordinating with the outsourced IT partner to resolve issues. The candidate should be organized, responsive, and capable of handling routine support while escalating complex matters to vendors.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in IT support, help desk, or similar role preferred.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT/CS preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience configuring Windows-based laptops and common business apps.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laptops for IT provider provisioning and onboarding.
• Coordinate tech setup for new hires (laptops, monitors, peripherals, access).
• Support offboarding by revoking access and returning equipment.
• Manage user access to systems according to processes and approvals.
• Liaise with outsourced IT provider and manage tickets in ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and conference room tech.
• Document troubleshooting procedures and IT processes.
