Job summary

VG Systems, LLC is seeking an entry-level part-time IT Support Technician to provide hybrid, on-call IT support to internal teams. This 1099 contractor role offers about 5 hours per month at $20/hour, with no set schedule. You will support a single client with Tier 1 issues, remote and on-site, with on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Experience with Apple Business Manager and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Surface hardware and Apple hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 IT support for end users (remote and on-site).
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist with workstation setup, configuration and maintenance.
• Support user accounts, access permissions and basic system administration.
• Document troubleshooting steps and support activity.
• Assist with basic updates, patches and security monitoring.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
