Job summary

Department of Innovation & Technology is seeking a Computer Support Technician to assist in providing end-user support for Microsoft Office and IT applications. You will help install, configure, and maintain desktop systems and train staff.

Role requires a two-year college background in computer science or related fields, with a focus on practical IT support and strong communication skills. Hybrid work availability is offered with in-office presence as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework in computer science or related fields is required.
• Experience with Windows OS and common IT tools preferred.
• Ability to train end users and support staff is essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Customer Support Technician for DoIT and assist end users.
• Participate in configuring, testing, installing, and maintaining desktop/laptop systems.
• Assist higher level staff in training and developing workshop materials.
• Keep training materials compliant with requirements and standards.
• Stay current on IT products, vendors, and procedures through continued education.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of duties.
