Job summary

Insitu is seeking an IT Support Technician to assist our team with troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing a wide range of computer hardware, software and AV equipment. The role provides onsite and remote support, maintains logs, and delivers exemplary customer service.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree and 3 years of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to learn new technology. The position offers hybrid work with on-site requirements for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
• Proven experience with Insitu systems.
• Experience with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service.
• Hybrid work arrangement with on-site at least one quarter.

Responsibilities

• Initial system configuration of computers, peripheral equipment, and software.
• Develops standard guidelines for self-help and/or responding to customer requests.
• Respond to tickets in accordance with established guidelines.
• Record, track, and document the help desk problem solving process through final resolution.
• Respond in timely manner to requests and issues.
• Repair and replace equipment as needed.
• Provide onsite and remote support to end users.
• Elevates and coordinates out of scope technical issues.
• Assesses needs and recommends hardware or software.
• Enters purchase requisitions as necessary.
