Job summary

PMO Partners, LLC is seeking an IT Technician to provide hands-on support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization. The role requires troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and peripherals, maintaining equipment, and assisting with daily IT operations to ensure secure technology performance.

The position is hybrid, offering collaboration with IT engineers, administrators, and security teams to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in IT support, technical assistance, or help desk operations.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows and/or macOS environments.
• Experience supporting hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.).
• Experience assisting users with access management, basic network issues, and device setup.
• Experience maintaining technical documentation and support logs.
• Technical Troubleshooting - Ability to diagnose and resolve common IT issues.
• Customer Service - Strong communication and support skills for assisting end users.
• Hardware & Software Knowledge - Understanding of computers, operating systems, and common business applications.
• Time Management - Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line and second-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve problems related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and approved software.
• Support employees with access issues, password resets, and general technology questions.
• Log, track, and resolve support tickets within established SLAs.
• Perform routine updates, patches, and equipment checks.
• Track hardware inventory, manage equipment assignments, and support lifecycle processes.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting, connectivity issues, and device configuration.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, configurations, and support activities.
• Work with IT engineers, administrators, and security teams to support broader technology needs.
• All other duties as assigned
