Job summary

CL&D, a division of ProMach, seeks a hands‑on IT Support Specialist in Hartland, WI. This hybrid role combines four days in the office with one day remote. You’ll provide Tier 1 desktop and device support, manage AD/M365, troubleshoot networks, and support manufacturing tech across office and shop floor environments.

You’ll collaborate with the IT team and vendors on projects, upgrades, and security initiatives while delivering clear, customer‑focused technical guidance to employees.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows desktop operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
• Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑focused approach and ability to explain technical information to non‑technical employees.
• Ability to prioritize requests, manage time effectively, and work independently or with a team.
• Desire to continue learning and expanding technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and business applications.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices.
• Support Apple technology, including MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, and iPads.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, Wi‑Fi, VPN, email, and printing issues.
• Deploy and maintain hardware and software according to company standards.
• Support manufacturing technology, including barcode scanners and shop floor systems.
• Assist with server, network, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and equipment inventory records.
• Support endpoint security, patch management, and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and participate in IT projects and upgrades.
