Job summary

CL&D, a division of ProMach, seeks an IT Support Specialist in Hartland, WI for a hybrid role. You’ll deliver hands-on support across desktops, devices, and networks, ensuring reliable operations in office and production environments.

You’ll troubleshoot, configure, and secure systems, collaborate with IT teammates, and support manufacturing tech and security initiatives. A customer-focused communicator with Windows, AD, and M365 skills succeeds here.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows desktop operating systems.
• Microsoft 365 administration knowledge.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobiles, printers, and apps.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices.
• Support Apple technology including Macs and iOS devices.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups in AD and Microsoft 365.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, WiFi, VPN, email, and printing issues.
• Deploy and maintain hardware and software per company standards.
• Support manufacturing technology including barcode scanners and shop floor systems.
• Assist with server, network, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Maintain IT documentation and asset inventory records.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Participate in IT projects and system upgrades.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers.
• Provide responsive customer service and clear technical guidance.

What you’ll do

• Support Apple technology, including MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, and iPads
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups within Active Directory and Microsoft 365
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, Wi‑Fi, VPN, email, and printing issues
• Deploy and maintain hardware and software according to company standards
• Support manufacturing technology, including barcode scanners, label printers, production workstations, and shop floor systems
• Assist with server, network, and infrastructure maintenance
• Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and equipment inventory records
• Support endpoint security, antivirus, patch management, and cybersecurity initiatives
• Assist with technology‑related onboarding and offboarding activities
• Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and technology implementations
• Coordinate with vendors and third‑party support providers when additional assistance is needed

Who you’ll work with

You’ll support employees throughout CL&D’s office and manufacturing environments while working closely with other members of the IT team. You’ll also coordinate with outside vendors and third‑party support providers when necessary to resolve issues and support technology projects. [Document4 | Word]

What we’re looking for

• Experience supporting Windows desktop operating systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
• Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A customer‑focused approach and the ability to explain technical information to non‑technical employees
• Ability to prioritize requests, manage time effectively, and work both independently and collaboratively

Additional experience that would be helpful

• Experience supporting technology in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ERP, production, or shop floor systems
• Experience using endpoint management tools such as Intune, N‑able, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
• Experience supporting macOS and Apple mobile devices
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or Apple certifications
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
