Job summary

PCADV is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide Tier 1–2 technical support for staff, focusing on macOS and Apple hardware, Microsoft 365, and collaboration tools. The role reports to the Director of IT and supports a hybrid work model with some in-person duties in the Harrisburg area.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in macOS Apple hardware support, 2+ years with Microsoft 365, strong network troubleshooting, and familiarity with identity workflows and ITSM platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of macOS and Apple hardware support in an enterprise, nonprofit, education, government, or similar environment.
• 2+ years of experience administering or supporting Microsoft 365 services.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and general network access.
• Understand user provisioning, access management, MFA, and identity workflows (preferably in Microsoft Entra ID).
• Experience using an ITSM or helpdesk ticketing platform to document, prioritize, track, and resolve staff requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, well-documented Tier 1 and Tier 2 staff support for technology requests, with troubleshooting and follow-through.
• Communicate clearly with staff, manage tickets, document issues, and follow requests through to resolution.
• Support macOS devices, Apple hardware, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Zoom, Zoho One).
• Manage endpoint and account tasks including device setup, enrollment, app deployment, inventory updates, compliance checks, provisioning, offboarding, and license changes.
• Troubleshoot identity, access, MFA, connectivity, conferencing, copier, peripheral, and office technology issues.
• Maintain clear documentation, user guidance, knowledge base articles, and runbooks; coordinate with vendors and escalate complex issues as needed.
