Job summary

PBS SoCal is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technology support for about 120 employees in a hybrid nonprofit environment across Los Angeles County and Orange County. The role emphasizes help desk requests, routine troubleshooting, equipment support, and onboarding/offboarding, with onsite IT and AV duties.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of IT help desk experience, solid Windows/macOS troubleshooting, and familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and VoIP

Qualifications

1–3 years in IT help desk or desktop support preferred
Basic PC/Mac troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications
Familiar with AD/Azure, Zoom, Teams, VoIP, Adobe Creative Suite

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for employee IT support requests
Troubleshoot Windows/macOS issues and applications
Support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AD/Azure, Zoom, Teams, and media apps
Provide basic Active Directory support (user creation, password resets)
Setup and maintain laptops, peripherals, and AV equipment
Assist with onboarding/offboarding and asset tracking
Travel between LA County and Orange County locations as needed
Set up conferencing and AV for meetings and events
