Job summary

NW Staffing Resources in Portland, OR is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on, end-user support, laptop provisioning, and Microsoft 365 administration on a full-time, hybrid basis. You will maintain IT documentation, support help desk activities, and assist with device administration while ensuring reliable delivery of core IT services.

This role offers a 3 days work-from-home schedule and a competitive hourly pay rate in a busy IT environment.

Qualifications

Experience providing end-user, Help Desk, or IT support.
Experience with Microsoft 365 user and device administration.
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Intune.
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell.
Experience with Asana administration and backend support.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Triage and respond to end-user support requests and monitor the Help Desk process.
Create, manage, and deactivate user accounts through AD, Entra, and M365.
Provision, deploy, monitor, maintain, and upgrade laptops and devices.
Install and configure software and perform updates and security patches.
Maintain IT documentation and accurate technology records.
Support Asana administration and backend functions.
Utilize PowerShell to assist IT administration needs.
Track and properly dispose of retired IT assets per policy.
Provide additional user support and assist with other IT activities when needed.
