Job summary

TTE Staffing is seeking an experienced IT Technical Support II to join our team on a part-time basis in a hybrid work environment in San Diego. The role involves hands-on end-user support, troubleshooting, and collaboration across departments.

You will work approximately 3 days per week with onsite shifts in San Diego and some remote shifts, with potential progression to full-time. The position offers growth opportunities and exposure to IT projects.

Qualifications

2+ years of Help Desk or Technical Support experience.
Experience supporting Windows-based environments and common business applications.
Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN concepts.
Experience with ticketing platforms such as ConnectWise, Jira, or Zendesk.
Familiarity with RMM tools such as Intune, ManageEngine, or ConnectWise RMM preferred.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with users at all levels.
A+ and/or Network+ certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide first- and second-level technical support for end users.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and system issues.
Manage incident and service requests through a ticketing system.
Support users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Escalate and resolve complex technical issues; maintain documentation and records.
Assist with system upgrades, process improvements, and IT projects.
Create and maintain knowledge base documentation.
Identify recurring issues and recommend proactive solutions.
