Thomson Reuters Corp. in McLean, VA, is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide desktop and networking support for a mixed onsite/remote workforce. You will manage provisioning, VPN troubleshooting, and documentation while supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Entra ID.

The role prioritizes security, collaboration, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Some after-hours maintenance may be required, and eligibility for a U.S.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of IT-related experience.
• Experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 apps (Exchange Online, Teams).
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Entra ID administration.
• Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Teams, and Outlook.
• Experience with Apple iOS, macOS, Linux, VMware and Cisco technologies is highly desirable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot VPN connectivity problems and network issues.

Aufgaben

• Provide day-to-day desktop and phone support for onsite and remote users during core business hours.
• Provision and ship user laptops and mobile phones; configure associated accounts.
• Troubleshoot network issues, including VPN connectivity problems.
• Document solutions and maintain accurate ticketing records.
• Support projects from LAN maintenance to office expansions and other IT initiatives.
• Perform after-hours maintenance and support as needed.
• Track tasks and time accurately in the help desk system.
• Maintain inventory of physical devices and components.
