Job summary

Trillion Technology Solutions, Inc. in Reston is seeking a versatile IT Systems & Support Engineer to support end users, cloud infrastructure, and our network environment. This hybrid role blends desktop support with managing AWS & Azure and securing our systems.

The role also covers M365/SharePoint administration, network operations, and IT security. Occasional on-site presence in the DMV area is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT Support, Systems Administration, or related role.
• Hands-on experience managing resources in AWS and Azure (EC2, S3, IAM; AD/Entra ID, VMs).
• Deep knowledge of Office 365 administration and SharePoint management (sites, permissions).
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall configuration understanding.
• Security mindset with endpoint protection, identity management, and DLP strategies.
• Ability to explain complex tech concepts to non‑technical users.
• On-site presence part of the week to support desktop hardware needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1–3 desktop support for Windows and macOS.
• Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Manage M365 and SharePoint administration, permissions, and architecture.
• Maintain network operations including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Implement security best practices across endpoints, networks, and cloud.
• Document network diagrams, IT policies, asset management, and SOPs.
• Coordinate with vendors and senior engineers on complex issues.
