Job summary

New Leaf Energy, Inc. is seeking an Interconnection Project Manager (DG) to coordinate interconnection efforts across engineering, project finance, accounting, and operations.

The role requires strong organizational and stakeholder-management skills and a background in renewable energy interconnection processes. The position supports hybrid work with offices in Lowell, MA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, Oakland, CA, and Troy, NY.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in energy or utility sectors preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Policy, Finance, Business, Environmental Science, Project Management preferred).
• Strong project management, reporting, and technical skills, with tools like Salesforce and Smartsheet/Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Represent New Leaf as the primary point of contact for all utility communications.
• Lead all utility interactions and meetings, including conflict resolutions.
• Own the interconnection lifecycle end-to-end and interpret utility requirements for cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain project management infrastructure, trackers, and reports for development strategy.
• Own interconnection application submittal packages and coordinate with internal and external teams.
• Manage cash flow forecasting with understanding of financial accounting and cost-benefit analysis.
