Job summary

New Leaf Energy is seeking an Interconnection Project Manager (DG) to join our team with a hybrid work environment. The role focuses on coordinating interconnection efforts across Engineering, Project Finance, Accounting, and Operations, including stakeholder relationships and market entry strategies.

Compensation includes a base salary range for Troy, NY of $105,180-$122,240, plus a 20% target bonus and equity-like participation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in energy and electric utility.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Policy, Finance, Business, Environmental Science, PM preferred)
• Strong project management, reporting, and technical skills in Salesforce and Smartsheet/Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Represent New Leaf as the primary point of contact for all utility communications.
• Lead interconnection due diligence and market-entry research.
• Own interconnection lifecycle and communicate risks to cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain project management infrastructure, trackers, and reports.
• Own interconnection application submittal packages and payments.
