Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Carol Stream, IL to engage existing customers, grow orders, and enhance the buying experience.

You will work with outside sales to meet goals, handle order processing, and identify opportunities for upsell while maintaining accurate records. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, base hourly pay with commission opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in sales and sales administration.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office; basic computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Obtains orders via email and calls, verifies items, and enters orders.
• Increases orders by suggesting related items and reviewing buying history.
• Qualifies and develops opportunities from marketing, outside sales, and accounts.
• Identifies process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Prepares quotations to secure orders or analyze losses.
• Reviews open order reports and manages items at risk of delivery dates.
