Job summary

Alfa Laval seeks a proactive Inside Sales & Customer Support Specialist in a hybrid role based in the United States. You will drive sales while delivering exceptional customer support, qualifying leads, managing pipelines, and building lasting customer relationships.

You will maintain CRM data, develop tailored pitches, demonstrate products, and educate customers on new offerings. A business-related degree and 2+ years in sales or support are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in inside sales, customer service, or similar role.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads via inbound/outbound calls, emails, and inquiries.
• Maintain an organized CRM with accurate lead and customer data.
• Proactively contact prospective customers to promote products/services and close sales.
• Develop tailored pitches and proposals to meet customer needs.
• Track and manage the sales pipeline toward monthly/quarterly goals.
• Collaborate with the sales team to refine strategies and drive revenue.
• Upsell or cross-sell products to existing customers.
• Educate customers on new offerings, features, and solutions.
• Serve as first point of contact for inquiries and provide timely solutions.
• Escalate complex cases and ensure resolution.
• Onboard new customers and ensure they are equipped to use products/services.
• Conduct product demos and training as needed.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and gather feedback.
• Prepare regular reports on support trends and sales performance.
