Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH is seeking a proactive Inside Sales & Customer Support Specialist for a hybrid role in the Richmond, VA area with coverage for Greenwood, IN and Houston, TX. You will drive sales, manage CRM data, and deliver exceptional customer support to build lasting relationships.

The role requires at least 2 years in inside sales or customer service, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and fluency with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot and Office apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Adaptability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads through inbound and outbound activities.
• Maintain an up-to-date CRM with accurate lead and customer information.
• Proactively contact prospective customers to promote products/services and close sales.
• Develop tailored sales pitches and proposals to meet customer needs.
• Track and manage the sales pipeline to meet monthly and quarterly goals.
• Collaborate with the sales team to refine strategies and achieve revenue objectives.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services.
