Job summary

Alfa Laval Mid Europe GmbH is seeking a proactive Inside Sales & Customer Support Specialist to join our hybrid team in the U.S. Based in Richmond, VA; Greenwood, IN; or Houston, TX, you will drive sales while delivering exceptional customer support and managing the sales pipeline end-to-end.

You will qualify leads, maintain CRM data, develop tailored pitches, and collaborate with the sales team to meet monthly targets, upsell while educating customers on new offerings and onboarding processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or similar role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads through inbound and outbound activities.
• Maintain an up-to-date and organized CRM with accurate lead and customer information.
• Proactively contact prospective customers to promote products/services and close sales.
• Develop tailored sales pitches and proposals to meet customer needs.
• Track and manage the sales pipeline to meet monthly and quarterly goals.
• Collaborate with the sales team to refine strategies and achieve revenue objectives.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell to existing customers.
• Educate customers on new offerings, features, and solutions.
• Guide new customers through onboarding and ensure they are fully equipped to use products/services.
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and address their needs.
• Collect and analyze feedback to improve customer experience.
• Prepare regular reports on support trends, customer satisfaction, and sales performance.
