Alfa Laval is seeking a proactive Inside Sales & Customer Support Specialist to join our team in a hybrid role based in Richmond, VA; Greenwood, IN; or Houston, TX. You will drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience) and at least 2 years in inside sales or customer service, with CRM and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of inside sales, customer service, or similar role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Adaptability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads via inbound/outbound calls, emails, and inquiries.
• Maintain an up-to-date CRM with lead and customer information.
• Proactively contact prospective customers to promote products/services and close sales.
• Develop tailored sales pitches and proposals to meet customer needs.
• Track and manage the sales pipeline toward monthly/quarterly goals.
• Collaborate with the sales team to refine strategies and achieve revenue objectives.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services.
• Educate customers on new offerings, features, and solutions.
• Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and resolve issues.
• Escalate complex cases and ensure follow-through until resolution.
• Guide new customers through onboarding and product demos.
• Build and maintain relationships by proactively addressing needs.
• Collect and analyze feedback to improve customer experience.
