Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support OEM customers with refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls. You will work closely with an Account Executive, learn Copeland Cold Chain controls, and apply them to OEM applications across the Americas.

The role requires a BS in Engineering (or related) and 2 years in food retail/foodservice tech support or engineering, with travel 40-50%. Hybrid work in a collaborative, global team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Two years of food retail or foodservice product development / engineering / field service / technical support or related experience.
• BS degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Copeland control systems for Food Retail/Foodservice, incl. E3 and Site Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted customer partner and technical subject matter expert for refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls and services.
• Act as OEM application expert and collaborate with the sales team.
• Understand market trends and competitive capabilities in controls and services.
• Create high-level technical requirements for new OEM opportunities, including BOMs and integrations.
• Collaborate with Copeland execution teams to ensure successful deployment of controls and services.
• Support land, implement and expand phases of the sales cycle with customers.
