Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join the Cold Chain Technical Sales team. You will partner with Account Executives, learn Copeland Cold Chain controls, and apply them to OEM customer needs across regions.

The role involves collaboration with product, engineering, and services teams to ensure successful specification, implementation, and expansion of Copeland controls. The position requires a BS in engineering, 2 years in related fields, knowledge of Copeland control systems,

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 2 years in food retail/foodservice product development/engineering/field service/technical support.
• Knowledge of Copeland control systems for Food Retail/Foodservice (E3, Site Supervisor, distributed controls).
• Hands-on experience with Food Retail/Foodservice Building Management Software.
• Demonstrated success in a technical role in related industries.
• Ability to travel 40–50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted partner and technical SME for refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls and services.
• Act as OEM application expert and collaborate with the sales team on customer engagements.
• Understand market trends and competitive capabilities.
• Create high-level technical requirements for new OEM opportunities including BOMs and integrations.
• Collaborate with execution teams to deploy controls and services.
• Support land, implement and expand phases of the sales cycle.
