Job summary

Copeland, a global climate technologies company, seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to join the Cold Chain Technical Sales team. You will understand OEM pains, apply Copeland controls for end users, and work with an Account Executive to ensure successful specification, application, and deployment.

Based in the Americas, you will collaborate with Product Management, Field Services, and Engineering teams. This role requires 40–50% travel and a collaborative, customer-focused approach to expand

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• Two years of food retail or foodservice product development / engineering / field service / technical support.
• Knowledge of Copeland control systems for Food Retail/Foodservice.
• Hands-on experience with Food Retail/Foodservice Building Management Software.
• Demonstrated success in a technical role in related industries.
• Ability to travel 40-50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted customer partner and technical SME for refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls and applicable services.
• Act as OEM application expert and collaborate with sales teams.
• Understand market trends and competitive capabilities.
• Create high level technical requirements for new OEM opportunities.
• Collaborate with Copeland execution teams for deployments.
• Focus on land, implement and expand phases of the sales cycle.
