Job summary

Copeland Cold Chain LP in the United States is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to bridge engineering and sales for OEM customers, translating customer needs into technical controls solutions. You will collaborate with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to ensure successful specification, application and deployment of Copeland controls.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 2 years in food retail/foodservice product development or related field, hands-on experience with Food

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
2 years in food retail or foodservice product development/engineering/field service/technical support.
Knowledge of Copeland control systems for Food Retail/Foodservice.
Hands-on experience with Food Retail/Foodservice Building Management Software.
Demonstrated success in a technical role in relevant industry.
Ability to travel 40–50%.

Responsibilities

Serve as trusted customer partner and technical subject matter expert for refrigeration, HVAC and lighting controls and services.
Serve as OEM application expert.
Understand controls and services market trends and competitive capabilities.
Collaborate with the sales team on customer engagements as technical sales and OEM application expert.
Pull in Solution Architecture, Product Management, Systems Engineering as needed.
Create high level, technical requirements for new OEM opportunities.
