Job summary

Manufactured Home Community is seeking an Human Resources Generalist to provide full-cycle HR support across communities and the corporate office. This hybrid role is based in Bloomfield, MI, and partners with payroll to ensure accurate processing of pay and status changes.

You will lead recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance, while coordinating benefits, training, and HRIS data to support a compliant, engaged workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including compliance and employee relations.
• PHR/SHRM-CP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for community and corporate roles with hiring managers.
• Oversee onboarding, including I-9 and orientation coordination.
• Serve as primary contact for HR policy questions and inquiries.
• Manage employee relations cases with investigations and coaching guidance.
• Administer benefits, leaves, workers’ comp, and accommodations per policy.
• Partner with payroll to ensure accurate pay and status changes.
• Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO and related laws.
• Maintain HR policies, performance reviews, and recognition programs.
• Coordinate training for employees and managers, including safety and compliance.
• Maintain confidential HR records and prepare reports and exit processes.
