Human Resource Generalist

We are excitedly looking for a positive, inquisitive HR Generalist and business partner to the HR Director, who loves streamlining processes and problem solving. Someone who will take HR duties off the HR Director’s plate while ensuring that HR operates efficiently and smoothly as directed. In addition, our new HR Generalist will help support the HR Director, Management, Supervisors, and Leaders regarding HR matters.

The person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, must have excellent attention to detail, is able to work independently with little or no supervision, and enjoys the challenges of supporting a company of diverse people. Someone who enjoys going home knowing they put their best foot forward and made a difference by supporting a company and its people.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and have experience in handling a wide range of human resources tasks:

• Benefits Admin
• FMLA, STD, Worker’s Comp
• Reconciling Invoices
• Demonstrate strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Paychex, PLEX a plus.
• Help administer Employee Assistance Program and Comprehensive Wellness Program
• Perform elements of New Hire Orientation and Training, Continuous Learning and Development programs
• Administer Tuition Reimbursement
• Assist with managing HR for organization by developing and maintaining office and company policies, updated company and annual handbooks, employee files, payroll, operations, discipline, orientation, and other procedures, as necessary.
• Handle internal inquiries, complaints, injuries, and workers compensation.
• Develop and streamline company policies and procedures and ensure they are implemented appropriately after approval and making sure all files are complete and organized as expected by owners.
• Perform review and analysis of duties, tasks, and projects and keeps ownership and management properly informed.
• Ensure top HR performance of company staff by providing them adequate coaching and guidance.
