Payentry is seeking a Help Desk Specialist II to join the Systems department. This role will handle installations, configurations, troubleshooting, and resolutions related to hardware and software used by the company.

The ideal candidate will work independently and in a team to meet technical needs. The position requires an Associate’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience and at least 3 years in a similar role, with strong Windows and software installation skills, plus excellent

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience troubleshooting systems and learning quickly.
• Skilled in software installation and Windows products.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure hardware and software components.
• Resolve any technical issues with hardware, software, or connectivity.
• Perform networking hardware and/or software upgrades.
• Support users online with configuration of workstations, servers, printers, and network peripherals.
• Assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics testing.
• Research solutions to current and future technical problems.
• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, and in-person.
• Enforce IT security policies and procedures with end-users.
• Other duties as assigned.
