Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to obtain TS/SCI clearance; active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph preferred.
• 3–5 years of systems administration and help desk support experience.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC standards is preferred.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, ticketing systems, and networking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hardware configuration and maintenance for servers, workstations, printers, and network devices.
• Provide timely IT support and troubleshoot issues reported by employees.
• Manage network firewall configuration and administration.
• Maintain user accounts and access permissions; monitor utilization and adjust as needed.
• Keep an inventory of IT equipment and support procurement planning.
• Implement security best practices per NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC standards.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
• Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery testing.
• Plan system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
• Create technical documentation and user guides.
• Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.
• Stay updated on emerging IT trends and technologies.
