Responsibilities

• Coordinate referral information for Brooks Health System outpatient centers.
• Verify, authorize, and schedule workers' compensation patients with appropriate clinics.
• Identify suitable sites for referrals based on location and diagnosis.
• Schedule initial evaluations within 24–48 hours with site FDC.
• Collaborate with site FDC and clinic manager to ensure all internal referrals have first visits within 24 hours.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, physicians, staff and peers.
• Serve as a resource and participate in marketing activities as a patient intake expert.
• Represent the organization to outside agencies.
