Brooks Rehabilitation seeks a Patient Service Representative to provide premium service for outpatient visits. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, prepare registrations, and support billing processes.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, telephone etiquette and in-person interactions.
• Healthcare experience preferred; medical terminology is a plus.
• Basic understanding of insurance and authorizations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors and provides premium customer service.
• Schedules therapy appointments and handles cancellations/rescheduling.
• Verifies referrals and insurance information; collaborates with CIU for urgent verifications.
• Prepares registration packets and ensures paperwork is uploaded correctly.
• Generates daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed.
• Serves as clinic liaison with Business Office regarding billing issues.
• Collects patient payments, issues receipts, and balances cash drawer daily.
• Maintains clinic cleanup, supplies, and general office support.
