Placements24 is seeking an experienced Events Coordinator & Manager for a hybrid role serving Welkom and surrounding areas. You will plan and execute a wide range of events, coordinating with clients, vendors, and venues to deliver memorable experiences.

The position requires strong organizational and negotiation skills, with 4+ years of event management experience. Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed and to operate in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in event planning and management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing diverse events.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Ability to work in hybrid environments with flexibility.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute events from conception to completion.
• Liaise with clients to understand objectives.
• Develop budgets and manage spending.
• Source vendors and negotiate terms.
• Coordinate logistics including staffing, catering, AV, and décor.
• Manage on-site operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and reporting.
• Maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
• Stay updated on industry trends.
