Job summary

FIRST is seeking an Associate Event Technology Manager in a hybrid role based in Jersey City, NJ. You will lead end-to-end event technology implementations, manage databases, and generate analytics to support event objectives.

Candidates should have 2–4+ years in attendee data management and event tech, with strong Excel skills and Cvent proficiency. Travel for events and on-site support may be required, and a collaborative, client-facing mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of Attendee Data Management and Event Technology experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with event registration platforms such as Cvent, Splash, Certain, Aventri, Eventbrite, or similar systems.
• Experience with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Intrado, GlobalMeet/TalkPoint, SpotMe, Concise Chime, etc.).
• Working knowledge of CRM integrations (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce).
• General knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus; additional scripting is advantageous.
• Strong project management and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of event registration websites, mobile apps, and related platforms from setup through live execution and post-event closeout.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients on event technology matters and provide platform recommendations.
• Configure, test, and execute event tech systems across multiple projects with tight timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues remotely or onsite to ensure smooth delivery.
• Lead onsite technology support during live events and manage registration operations.
• Produce registration reports, attendance insights, and event analytics for decision-making.
• Coordinate production of tech-enabled event materials (badges, signage, confirmations).
• Maintain comprehensive event documentation and collaborate with Delivery, Production, Content teams.
