Job summary

FIRST is a leading global brand experience agency deliveringContent, Creative, Digital Technology, Management & Delivery, and Data & Insights services. The Senior Event Technology Manager leads strategy, implementation, and management of event tech across virtual, hybrid, and in-person programs.

They consult with clients on best practices, oversee registration platforms and apps, manage the Event Technology team, and drive successful delivery from planning through onsite execution, including

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of related experience in Data Management and Event Technology.
• Expert knowledge of Cvent is required.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with major registration platforms (Splash, Certain, Aventri, Eventbrite).
• Experience with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, WebEx, SpotMe, vFairs, etc.).
• Experience integrating CRM systems (Salesforce, Marketo, Dealcloud) with event registration.
• Highly motivated with ability to work independently.
• Strong work ethic, patience and proactive problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; flexible with hours and travel.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on Event Technology best practices and platform recommendations.
• Advise on user experience for pre-event and onsite registration for virtual and in-person events.
• Manage development of registration websites, apps, and other tech aspects of events.
• Oversee vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery across programs.
• Lead and mentor Event Technology team; manage capacity and resources.
• Coordinate room blocks and hotel liaison; ensure accurate event data and lists.
• Provide reporting, analytics, surveys, and lead generation insights.
• Print name badges and related materials as needed.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and maintain event files for smooth handoffs.
