Job summary

PRA Business Events is seeking an Event Specialist in Colorado Springs for a hybrid role combining creative program design with hands-on event production. You will partner with the sales team to design innovative solutions and manage logistics from contract through on-site delivery.

Based in/near Colorado Springs, you will coordinate proposals, budgets, vendor relations, field staff, and program documentation to ensure exceptional service and seamless execution for client events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of overseeing corporate meetings, client events, and complex programs in DMC/hospitality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze client proposals, contracts, and financial documents.
• Ability to present information to clients, suppliers, and hoteliers.
• Ability to multitask on multiple programs with tight deadlines.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and staff, hoteliers, and partners.
• Flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to develop proposals, presentations, and attendee experiences.
• Create program designs across transportation, registration, gifting, tours, teambuilding, venues, staffing, and services.
• Research and vet venues and supplier partners; maintain industry relationships.
• Attend monthly Creative and Event Producer meetings.
• Prepare and manage program budgets, costings, and line-items with accuracy.
