Job summary

Zurich North America is hiring an Underwriting Account Service Associate to join the {Insert Major Unit} team. You will support and work closely with experienced Underwriters in the review and analysis of risks, helping to assess risk and grow your career.

This hybrid role reports to one of several North American offices (Atlanta, New York, Schaumburg, Scottsdale) with flexibility to work in-office as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant foundational knowledge in risk, analysis, or administration.
• Experience with data collection and analysis is required.
• Exposure to insurance, risk management, or administrative environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, evaluates, and summarizes risk exposures, controls, loss history, and financial condition to aid underwriting decisions.
• Follows instructions on policy rating, pricing, construction, coverages and exclusions to quote and issue policies.
• Provides end-to-end servicing for new business, renewals, and endorsements for basic to moderately complex products.
• Responds to written and verbal inquiries under supervision of Underwriter/Manager; collaborates with assigned underwriters.
• Supports broker/agent/distributor interactions with basic customer service skills.
