Zurich North America is hiring a UA Associate to join the E&S Excess Casualty team in a hybrid Chicago reporting structure. You will assist underwriters by reviewing risks, summarizing exposures, and supporting end-to-end servicing for new business, renewals, and endorsements.

The role emphasizes data analysis, attention to detail, and strong communication with brokers, clients, and internal partners. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent apprenticeship is required, with preferred insurance industry

• Ability to work under supervision while learning underwriters.

Responsabilités

• Reviews, evaluates, and summarizes risk exposures, controls, loss history, and financial condition to aid underwriting decisions.
• Follows instructions in policy rating, pricing, and coverage construction to quote and issue policies.
• Provides account servicing support for new business, renewals, and endorsements.
• Responds to inquiries on time under supervision; collaborates with assigned underwriters.
• Supports underwriting interactions with brokers/agents/distributors.
