Job summary

Zurich North America is hiring an Underwriting Account Service Associate to assist experienced Underwriters in risk review and analysis. This hybrid role reports to one of several North American office locations, including Schaumburg, IL.

You will support end-to-end servicing for new business, renewals, and endorsements, and collaborate closely with Underwriters to ensure accurate quoting and policy issuance while maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice or High School Diploma with 2+ years in administrative, customer service, financial services, risk management, or insurance.
• Knowledge of data collection and analysis.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, evaluates, and summarizes risk exposures, controls, loss history, and financial condition to aid underwriting decisions.
• Follows instructions on policy rating, pricing, construction, coverages, and forms to quote and issue policies.
• Provides account servicing support for new business, renewals, and endorsements for basic to moderately complex business.
• Responds to written and verbal inquiries under close supervision by Underwriter/Manager, working with assigned underwriters.
• Supports underwriter with broker/agent/distributor/customer interactions by providing basic customer service.
