Zurich North America is seeking an experienced E&S Excess Casualty Underwriter to join our Casualty team with a hybrid schedule across Chicago, New York, Parsippany, or Atlanta. The role offers a flexible work model and opportunities to work with brokers and customers on risk assessment, pricing, and market strategy.

You will be involved in risk evaluation, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration, while developing and mentoring junior staff in a growing E&S practice.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 1+ years in Insurance or Market Facing area.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support area.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and the regulatory environment.
• Knowledge of underwriting philosophy, techniques, and guidelines.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain relationships with broker partners and customers across industries.
• Apply underwriting acumen for risk assessment, exposure evaluation, and pricing to grow a profitable book.
• Collaborate with claims, finance, risk engineering, actuary, and underwriting teams to gain industry knowledge.
• Coach and empower junior team members.
